Job Description

Anticipated Salary: $18.75 - $20.00 hourly. This is a non-exempt position.

 

Time Off Plan: 20 days of PTO. Additional Time Off: MLK Day, Presidents’ Day, Spring Break, Memorial Day, Week of July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving (Wed-Fri), Winter Break (Dec. 24-Jan. 1)

 

The Document Processor supports the activities related to student enrollment, record and system management. This position acts as the school’s advocate or representative.

       Supports student enrollment and re-enrollment process

       Acts as a supportive resource for students, prospective students, and families by guiding and managing enrollment documentation with accuracy

       Ensures state compliance guidelines are met for all incoming enrollment documents

       Manage, develop, and ensure implementation of enrollment process

       Follow established training processes and guidelines for school operations, ensuring consistent implementation

       Understands and follows state compliance requirements to ensure accurate reporting

       Coordinate efforts to ensure list of required documents for initial approval and reregistration is accurate and appropriate

       Communicate requirements and deadlines clearly to families, including missing documentation and overall enrollment status

        

        Assists with school retention efforts, including collection of missing documentation

       Assists administration with various projects

       Periodic onsite presence required including team meetings and state testing

       Other duties may be assigned

 

 

Required Education and Experience

       High school diploma or equivalent

       Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Google Docs, Forms, Sheets, Voice

       Strong technology skills including database and spreadsheet skills

       Experienced using search engines (internet) for research

       Ability to clear required background check

 

Preferred Education and/or Experience

       Associate degree (AA) or higher preferred

       Program Enrollment related experience

       Experienced using a student information system and/or other type of database

Location

All staff must reside in the state of South Carolina.

 

This position is remote with the following travel expectations:

       In-person orientation

       All-staff professional development in July (2-3 days)

       Quarterly Operations team meetings

       1-2 student outings per semester

       Additional travel expectations will be discussed in the interview process

This is a full-time position. Ability to work independently, typically 40+ hours per week is required. Ability to maintain a professional home office without distraction during workday, typically 8-4 or as defined by the school.
